Behind the Wheel Driving
Behind
the Wheel Driving is for anyone that needs actual driving time. Our
course is suitable for first time drivers, mature drivers, and road
test prep. We can personalize the program to meet your requirements.
The
first few hours of driving instruction are the most difficult. At the
North Florida Safety Council, safety is our number one priority. We
are dedicated to providing training to help students be the best
drivers they can be. Our car is equipped with an instructor-operated
safety brake, allowing students the experience of driving with more
confidence. All instructors are State Certified.

Behind the Wheel Driving Program
offers options to help you meet your driving need.
Full Program -
$400.00 - $20 discount $380

Students will receive a four hour drug, alcohol and traffic
education class, a four hour defensive driving course, a one hour
familiarization class to prepare for hands-on driving and four hours
of hands-on instruction.

This
is a one-on-one program: there will be only one student in the car
with the instructor for Behind the Wheel instruction.

The
instructor will evaluate the student driver’s abilities before
driving on the road and in actual traffic conditions. None of the
instruction is simulated.

Student drivers will be picked up and dropped off at the NFSC unless
other arrangements have been made. Home pick-up and drop-off is
available for an additional fee.

Students receive a certificate from the Safety Council upon
completion of four hours of instruction. The certificate can be used
as proof of professional training.
