First Aid / CPR

The goal of FA/CPR training is to provide people with the knowledge and skills necessary in an emergency, to recognize the emergency, call for help, and to provide temporary basic life support for a victim/patient.

 

FIRST AID COURSE

 Course Description: 

The objective of this course is to familiarize the citizen responder with the principles of first aid.  This course is designed to prepare the citizen responder to recognize an emergency, and to follow the "Assess, Alert, Attend" step plan of action for emergency care.  This program will prepare participants to :  1) Assess, the scene and the victim, 2) Alert, Emergency Medical Services, 3) Attend, to the victim. The content and activities of course will largely depend upon any organizational needs, needs of students and any requirements specific to licensure or job performance.

Course Description:

The training is to provide people with the knowledge and skills necessary in an emergency, to recognize the emergency, call for help, and to provide temporary basic life support for a victim/patient.  Also includes information on the prevention of injury and illness by focusing on early warning signs, accident and injury prevention and healthy lifestyles.

Course Content:

 

We offer First Aid and CPR training for the community and for businesses. We will even hold the class at your location for groups of 10 or more. If you don't have a group of 10 or more that need the training you can check our calendar for a class at a local office near you.
